Pfizer Consumer Healthcare has deployed a software program from HAHT Commerce that allows Wal-Mart, Shaw’s Supermarkets and Wegmans Food Markets to synchronize data automatically received from Pfizer and other manufacturers.

The program provides managers with better auditing capabilities, a method of determining which customers have accepted or turned down specific items, and automated tasking, among other services, according to a statement released by HAHT.

HAHT is a developer of demand chain management applications that makes it easier for buyers and sellers to keep track of several types of order information.

HAHT has been on a public relations tear this year, releasing no less than 22 statements regarding its business activities and has been published in at least 30 articles, including national publications such as Information Week and ComputerWorld, since Jan. 21, according to information available on the company’s Web site.
