Former Motricity exec is new marketing vice president at Hosted Solutions

Noreen Allen, a former executive with Motricity and SpectraSite, is the new vice president of marketing for .

Hosted Solutions provides data center and managed technology solutions with four data centers in North Carolina and another in Massachusetts.

Allen held similar positions at Motricity, a developer of mobile content and solutions, and SpectraSite, which was one of the largest cell tower operators in the U.S. before being sold in 2005.

“This is the perfect time to bring in someone with Noreen’s background,” said Rich Lee, chairman and chief executive Officer of Hosted Solutions. “We’ve built a strong, profitable business organically over the last seven years without a marketing strategist on our executive team. Noreen led marketing for two very prominent local brands that were in similar high growth situations. Her experience with marketing, branding and positioning will be invaluable for us as we take the business to the next level.”
