Founded in 2001, DocuSource sells digital print and supporting creative and logistics services

This transaction brings together two U.S.-based small businesses, expanding the reach, capacity and footprint of the collective enterprise. Dana Dorroh, CEO of DocuSource, will continue as head of operations in North Carolina.

The firm will continue operations as DocuSource, and retain the more than 40 professionals currently employed locally. Data Papers has 64 employees in PA. Next year, the headcount is projected to increase up to 6 percent in 2018.

Jerry Wertz, President and CEO of Data Papers, says, “The acquisition of DocuSource is the first step in the execution of the company’s strategic plan to acquire compatible assets that will enable Data Papers to broadly diversify its historical print offerings of business forms and digital marketing materials.”

In the near term, the acquisition of DocuSource will provide cross marketing opportunities, greatly expanding the customer base for both organizations. Additionally, based on customer growth and demand, planned process enhancements will provide additional efficiencies and enable investments in innovative technologies.

“Joining Data Papers will give our well-established company significant growth opportunities, as well as the benefit of operational and financial synergies created by the acquisition,” explains Dorroh, who has led DocuSource since 2012.

DocuSource’s 363 customers include numerous top tier companies in the technology, research, health care and life science sectors.
