DURHAM – LaunchBio hosted another lively ‘Larger Than Life Science’ networking event on Thursday night. The theme of the night was “The Sound of Science” which offered an opportunity to partner with the SBTDC, Duke University, Clearsketch and Moogfest.

Here are a series of photos from the event at The Chesterfield building made available to WRAL TechWire by LaunchBio, which is a TechWire partner.

In the photo above, Duke University researcher Dr. Jennifer Groh delighted the crowd with her interactive session on the surprising ways the brain connects between sight and sound.

Moogfest popped up an exclusive miniLab, giving attendees an opportunity to experiment with synthesized sound and preview the festival, coming to downtown Durham, May 17-20.

Making connections is a continuing goal for LaunchBio events

Clearsketch principle Brandon Hoe shared his insights into branding for biotech startups and marketing from a place of authenticity.
