Triad Semiconductor, based in Winston-Salem, has closed on a $5 million debt raise, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Launched in 2002, the company focuses on mixed-signal integrated circuit chips made with proprietary technology that reduces the time and cost of chip development. It provides full turn-key services and says it supports virtually and production volume.

Its integrated circuits are used in the defense, aerospace and industrial markets. The company cites revenue of $5 million to $20 million on the SEC filing.

It has raised $14 million in equity since 2010 and closed a $1.4 million debt round in February 2017.
