Here’s our lineup of Triangle events happening in November, including some conferences and summits, a handful of lunch and learns, several educational workshops and plenty of networking. The roundup also features application deadlines for accelerators, competitions and other programs.

Jeff Terrell, a UNC Chapel Hill alumnus, entrepreneur and computer science professor, will show participants how to design and develop an app.

LaunchDURHAM Info Session
November 12, 6-7 p.m. @ReCity

The Helius Foundation has partnered with ReCity, The City of Durham and LaunchRALEIGH to jumpstart a 10-week training program in early 2019 for local startups and small businesses. Come to this info session to learn more. Applications are due by November 17.

Technology Orientation: Carolina Innovation Platform

Sheryl Waddell, director of Innovate Carolina Global Network, will deliver a presentation covering technology that UNC students can use to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.

Technology Sprint: Carolina Innovation Platform

Sheryl Waddell, director of Innovate Carolina Global Network, will deliver a presentation covering technology that UNC students can use to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, mentors and investors. This event is split into two parts—an hour-long info session introducing the technology and a subsequent hands-on workshop.

First Flight Itineraries: Anatomy of a Startup
November 13, 12-2 p.m.

At this meeting, First Flight Venture Center member Mark Roberson of Goldfinch Sensor Technologies and Analytics will share a bit about his company’s experience with the Small Business Administration’s grant awards.

The Revenue Exchange November Meetup

The next Revenue Exchange meetup features a talk from Brad McGinity, who cofounded Windsor Circle and currently serves as CRO of 15Five.

Code for Durham: Racial Inequities + Civic Hacking Session
