American Underground’s 2018 End of Year Celebration and AU Awards

December 5, 6-9 p.m. @The Cotton Room

The startup community is invited to join American Underground in celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of the Triangle’s entrepreneurial scene this year. The event will introduce AU’s first-ever awards, “The Undies,” which will be granted to the organization’s most notable members. All proceeds from the event will go to Code The Dream.

Larger Than Life Science: Big Holiday Party

December 6, 4-7 p.m. @The Chesterfield

Next up in LaunchBio’s Larger Than Life Science event series is a special holiday celebration featuring a panel of HR experts, science comedian Brian Malow, a guided constellation tour in the Museum of Life & Science’s Star Lab and glitter-sprinkled beer from Durty Bull Brewing Company. Tickets are free.

Silicon Hollar Year End Celebration

December 6, 6-8 p.m. @American Legion Hall

Join Silicon Hollar for food, drinks and celebration of the accomplishments of Western North Carolina’s startup community. This event also features pitches from Velocity Labs companies, a raffle and a talk from NC IDEA President Thom Ruhe.
