According to a securities filing on Wednesday, the company has already secured $9 million of the target from one investor.

ImagineOptix says it has developed “proprietary technology that allows optics to be thinner, lighter, and more efficient than current optics solutions.”

The company adds that it does not expect the funding to last more than one year.

The filing is available online.
