RALEIGH – Several Red Hat senior executives turned out Wednesday to unveil the tech giant’s new logo – but the one atop the company’s downtown Raleigh tower is a bit different than one unveiled for use elsewhere.

Now a highlight to the Raleigh skyline is an all-white fedora with “Red Hat” lettering against a vivid red background.

Posing for photos, from left, are:

  • Eric Shander, EVP & CFO
  • Tim Yeaton, EVP & CMO
  • Leigh Day, VP of Marketing Communications
  • Jim Whitehurst, President & CEO
  • Michael Cunningham, EVP & general counsel

Here’s a shot of the old signage:
