RALEIGH – One of Wake County’s oldest radiology practices, Raleigh Radiology, has raised $891,937 in equity.

Two investors contributed to the raise, which kicked off on August 20, according to a recent SEC filing. Around $31,000 was the minimum investment accepted from any outside investor.

Of the funds raised, an estimated $280,847 is expected to go towards the payments of executive officers, directors or promoters.

Satish Mathan, the practice’s president and managing partner, signed off on the filing.

Founded in the early 1980s, Raleigh Radiology services all WakeMed Hospital facilities. It is believed to be one of the first in the Triangle to offer 3D breast tomosynthesis mammography and “high field 1.5T open bore” MRI.

The group currently has seven locations throughout the Triangle, recently opening a new outpatient facility in Fuquay-Varina.
