More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide.
Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the guide.
Over the past week, we added three new listings to our list of accelerators and mentorship programs:
- Duke University’s Law Tech Lab: An accelerator that provides mentoring and connections for emerging startups operating in the legal technology market. Participating companies also receive an equity-free grant at the start of the program. The program just graduated its third cohort last week.
- LexisNexis Legal Tech Accelerator: This program provides education, tools, connections and mentorship to startups in the legal technology space. The accelerator is based in LexisNexis’s Raleigh office at NC State University and in Menlo Park, California. Earlier this month, nine firms (two from the Triangle) were chosen for the program’s fourth cohort.
- Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s Venture Mentoring Service: This free resource offers advanced team consulting from top executives and entrepreneurial leaders in the community.
We also added Loading Dock Raleigh’s two new locations to our incubators/coworking spaces map:
- Prince Hall District: This month, Loading Dock expanded to east Raleigh with a new space in a refurbished, 3,000-square-foot home in the city’s Prince Hall District. The space offers offices for teams of 4, 5 or 8 people, as well as rooftop coworking.
- Boylan: Loading Dock Raleigh opened a new space on Boylan Avenue in the summer of 2019. The space offers all-access 2-person to 10-person office suites in a convenient location between NC State and downtown Raleigh.
We want to continue encouraging readers to share suggestions and feedback to help us make the guide better. Is there something you think we’re missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions.
