Cloud tech firm opens Durham office, is hiring, aiming to add scores of jobs ‘very quickly’

DURHAM – A cloud technology firm has opened an office in the Bull City and is looking to rapidly grow its workforce.

Terazo, which is based in Richmond, has opened a 5,200 square foot office at the American Tobacco Campus.

With 10 employees already onboard, Terazo plans to increase its local headcount to 50 “very quickly,” a spokesperson for the company says.

The office is the second for Terazo, which works with clients to “integrate and automate” hybrid and cloud-based operations for clients.

“With our growing roster of clients in the health technology realm and the steady rise in business our industry has seen in this market, we knew an office in Durham was the natural next step in our expansion plans,” said Mark Wensell, CEO of Terazo, in announcing the new operation.

“We see an abundance of opportunity in the Raleigh-Durham area and we’re particularly excited to be a part of the vibrant American Tobacco Campus with so many of our peers.”
