RALEIGH – The invite-only annual NC CEO Forum is back for its tenth year. This week, both local and global executives will provide an insider’s perspective on how they’re using new technologies to bring a competitive edge to their business.

The full-day event takes place on Tuesday, November 5, at the Raleigh Convention Center. It will feature keynotes and panels discussing topics within the theme “Leading in a World of Disruptive Technology.”

Some noteworthy speakers are on the agenda, namely former Cisco Systems CEO John Chambers, who now serves as founder and CEO of Palo Alto-based VC firm JC2Ventures, as well as former AT&T North Carolina president Cynthia Marshall, now CEO of the Dallas Mavericks.

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper will also make an appearance as a headlining speaker.

Other keynote speakers include Inmar Chairman and CEO David Mounts, Infinia ML CEO Robbie Allen, Fidelity Labs Head Mona Vernon, SAS Institute SVP of Technology Gavin Day, Wake Med Health & Hospital VP & Chief Strategy Officer Rick Shrum and BlueCross & BlueShield of NC Chief Data and Analytics Officer Patrick Getzen.

Talks and panels will cover a variety of emerging technologies, with executives presenting case studies on how to leverage them for business success.

Topics include machine learning, artificial intelligence in food manufacturing, cryptocurrency, data mining and analytics, and drug development and commercialization.
