RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK — Get Spiffy, an on-demand car care, technology, and services company, today announced the acquisition of Your Location Lubrication (YLL).
This acquisition strengthens Spiffy’s Fleet Management as a Service (FMaaS) offering by adding YLL’s high-volume oil change system, technicians and fleet.
“It effectively doubles our size,” Spiffy’s founder Scot Wingo told WRAL TechWire.
Back in June, Spiffy closed on more than $10 million in new venture capital, adding six markets and a new fleet management service. With this latest acquisition, it is now in 20 markets with more than 200 vans and 300 technicians.
“Preventative maintenance is the top priority for our fleet clients, especially oil change and tire rotation,” Wingo added in the release. “By combining our technology and expertise with YLL’s, we will be able to provide those services even more efficiently, which translates directly into dollars for our clients.
YLL was founded in 2009 in Orlando, FL by Zachary Zeller. Over the last 10 years, YLL has expanded to rapidly and is a 5-Time “Inc. 5000” Honoree featuring 190 percent 3-year growth.
Zeller will stay on with Spiffy as Senior Vice President of Fleet Business Development.
