More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from WRAL TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide.

Also, be sure to check out our extensive calendar listings for October and November, plus our meetups list – all linked at the bottom of this post.

Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the Triangle Startup Guide.

Last week, we made three new additions to the inspiration/advice and more resources section of the guide:

  • We added a link to NC State University’s new 2018-2019 annual report, which features the new and successful startup programs happening on campus.
  • We also included a listing for free employee wellness services offered by Wellistic, a startup based in HQ Raleigh that’s building a network of wellness providers and partners where companies can get discounted rates for their employees. As a way to give back to the startup community, Wellistic makes this program free for companies with less than 25 employees (minimum of five employees). This is a helpful resource if you’re a founder of a startup or small business with a small team.
  • We added a link to a resource guide specifically geared towards social impact startups, compiled by Duke University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative. The guide includes information on social entrepreneurship fellowship programs, funding opportunities, venture support, suggested reading, and more.

Is there something you think the guide is missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions and feedback.

Each week we also break out events coming up “on the horizon” a month out – such as our December calendar listings.

We’ve also put together a list of over 100 Triangle meetups.

These columns accompany our interactive calendar, which is updated every few days with new events held across North Carolina.
