CARY – Mark Huebeler will be the new chief financial officer for MercuryGate International Inc., a transportation management system provider, the company announced Monday.

Huebeler previously served as vice president of finance at Valassis Digital, and before that as CFO and chief operations officer at LexisNexis’s Legal Software Solutions division. As CFO at MercuryGate, Huebeler will be responsible for the company’s financial operations.

“Mark’s extensive experience, combined with his track record of success in Software as a Service (SaaS) and professional services industries will serve us well as we continue to focus on our organic and acquisitive growth strategies as well as drive more value and innovation for our clients,” Joe Juliano, MercuryGate chief executive officer and president, said in a statement.

MercuryGate announced a new chief people officer in September and a new managing director in October.

In July, MercuryGate announced the acquisition of TransSolutions Inc., a transportation management software. MercuryGate also partnered with Uber Freight in August to provide Uber Freight’s carrier network on MercuryGate’s platform.
