WINSTON-SALEM — Is it time to turn your creative idea into a business?

Winston-Salem’s Center for Creative Economy announced the launch of Kinetic, a bootcamp designed for creatives and artists who are ready to launch a business.

Among the skills taught: validating a creative idea, developing a business model, identifying customers and building a budget to understand your expenses and revenue.

“Kinetic is designed for you to take that cool idea you’ve been thinking about and create a mission, vision and value proposition for a potential customer,” the center said in its release.

Applications are open until Feb. 2. Selected participants will be notified on Feb. 28.

The bootcamp will begin on March 28.
