RALEIGH – Hatteras Funds in Raleigh has now reached $27 million for its Hatteras Evergreen Private Equity Fund.

According to an SEC filing, investors have poured another $3.8 million into the fund.

Eighty-four investors have now participated in the fund raise, which dates back to 2017.

The first $23 million close was reported in January 2019.

Minimum investment is $50,000, according to the filing.

CEO David Perkins launched Hatteras Funds inSeptember 2003 as “a boutique alternative investment specialist, with the goal of developing alternative investment solutions for Financial Advisors and their Clients,” according to the firm’s website.

“David’s vision was to eliminate the many obstacles associated with implementing alternatives and to help clients build better portfolios. Today, he is responsible for creating and implementing the strategic vision of the firm.”
