RALEIGH — There’s a new co-working space in the City of Oaks, and it’s called Venture X.

The Florida-based firm is now breaking into the Triangle market with its first 21,773-square-foot office in RTP Frontier, 600 Park Offices Drive. It includes a mix of private offices, 254 shared desks, three executive rooms, private wellness room and cafe.

Already, 15 companies have signed on — with many more making inquiries, says Venture X’s director of sales Ed Oliver.

“We’ve seen a recent surge in tours and information requests in the past few weeks. We predict to be 95% committed by the summer.”

On Thursday, Feb. 2o, it is getting set to celebrate its grand opening.  It is one of many firms moving into the region as the co-working markets booms.

“The area is growing at a rapid pace due to the great cost of living, major universities, and the overall Carolina way of life,” Oliver explained. “We’ve noticed that companies are interested in serviced, short-term office space versus a long term commitment. We offer a high-quality product, at an affordable price, that requires no long-term commitment. It’s really a win-win for a company in a transitional period.”

Father and son team, David and Brett Diamond, founded Venture X Naples, in southwest Florida in 2012. It now has offices nationwide as well as Canada, England, and Ireland.

Venture X already has another two Triangle locations in the works.

“We are still searching for suitable locations, but most likely one closer to downtown Raleigh and one closer to downtown Durham. Each location will be strategically placed to better serve our clients.
