The CED disclosed plans early Monday for the rebooted venture event, which was cancelled due to the coronavirus. But the group says it is salvaging the event which is set for May 4.

“It will look different.  It will feel different,” the CED says.

“But all the core elements that deliver value to you and your company will still be intact. That we can promise.”

CED has “commitments from 95% of our companies to continue in a virtual format,” the organization says.

Other points:

  • We are creating a unique experience for our out-of-region investors that prioritizes a quick exchange of information around deal flow while connecting you with the local investor community for the inside track.
  • We will be making plenty of curated introductions leading up to, during and after our virtual event. As always, we are sharply focused on connecting you with the people that can impact your business in a positive way.
  • Meanwhile, an event app remains available.

The CED  also is “looking at options to offer adjusted pricing to align with our new format, opportunities to transfer your current ticket or take advantage of other opportunities at CED. We are working quickly to pull those details together and will have them out to you very soon.”
