RALEIGH – Add this corporate education site among the latest economic casualties of the spreading coronavirus pandemic.

The Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro is furloughing between 90 and 120 employees, according to a layoff notice filed with the North Carolina Department of Commerce.

The CCL said the move was “temporary, lasting less than six months in duration.”

“CCL is implementing scheduling changes for our employees based out of CCL’s Greensboro, North Carolina campus due to the unforeseen business circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic,” the center said.

Furloughs include faculty, administration, corporate and maintenance staff, the CCL said.

The CCL says it works with clients  “to discover your priorities and customize our unique leadership solutions to best fit your needs. Our innovative solutions are steeped in extensive research and experience.”

CCL works with some 3,000 organizations a year with some 60,000 people involved in programs each year, according to its website.
