Veritas Collaborative, a Durham-based specialty hospital system for treating eating disorders, has raised $2,292,649 in debt and security of option, according to a recent regulatory filing.

The firm raised the funds from 20 investors. The filing indicated that, other than the payment of salaries and other compensation and benefits, no manager, officer, director, or promoter would receive any payments from the proceeds of this offering.

In addition, the firm has raised a total of $30 million in equity since 2016.

The multidisciplinary staff of Veritas Collaborative is comprised of doctors, psychotherapists, nurses, and educators.
It has locations in Durham, Richmond, VA, and Atlanta, GA.

The company says it provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for persons with eating disorders.
