- We made two new additions to the VC/angel groups section:
- Blue Hill Group: Led by Triangle investor Steven Lerner, Chapel Hill-based Blue Hill Group is a private equity investment firm that funds companies with promising tech solutions. Blue Hill recently invested in Raleigh startup Next Century Spirits.
- Modern Energy Group: Based in Durham, Modern Energy Group is an asset management firm that invests in startups with clean energy technologies. The firm recently raised $30 million from 23 investors.
- We also added a link to this article on leadership by Walk West CEO Donald Thompson, TechWire’s newest columnist, to the inspiration/advice/more resources section of the guide.
