WAKE COUNTY — Got a good business idea, or want to take your current venture to the next level?

Well, you’re in luck. Registrations are now being accepted for this fall’s 2020 LaunchWakeCounty, which strives to develop successful entrepreneurs who have limited access to business training and networking opportunities.

LaunchWakeCounty is a community-based economic development movement that is currently active in seven Wake County towns. Wake Technical Community College is among the official training partners

Since 2017, over 440 small business owners and entrepreneurs have completed eight to 10-week curriculum programs aimed at helping them to successfully start and/or grow small businesses in Wake County.

The five-part LaunchWakeCounty model includes training, mentoring, assistance in finding capital, and networking.

Acceptance is based on a competitive application and interview process.  Once accepted, attendance and access to all resources is free.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, priority is will be given to existing businesses who need help pivoting to survive the pandemic.
