CHARLOTTECatapult HQ, a Request for Proposal, Qualification, and Information (RFx) platform, has raised $1.7 million in equity, according to a recent securities filing.

Four investors contributed to the round, which kicked off on July 20.

The Charlotte-based company is still looking to raise roughly another $1.3 million, the filing noted, with a minimum investment of $25,000 accepted from any outside investor.

Founded in 2017, Catapult standardizes and automates the “Request for Proposal” workflow across any industry.

It is founded by Justin Witz, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, according to his LinkedIn account.

He is responsible for PlanTools system architecture, product design & development, project management, sales/marketing/support channels, infrastructure and security.
