WRAL TechWire has been making weekly updates to keep content fresh and relevant in our exclusive Triangle Startup Guide.

Last week, we added two more items to our list of COVID-19 funding and support resources for startups and small businesses:

  • Back On the Bull: Organized by the City of Durham, this website includes resources and checklists for businesses that are reopening in Durham.
  • NC Job Retention Grant (JRG): This program provides grants of up to $250,000 for businesses and nonprofits in North Carolina. The deadline to apply is September 1.

We also added two more non-COVID related resources:

  • We added Pitch Space to the communities/networks/memberships section of the guide. Recently launched by Flywheel Coworking, Pitch Space is a platform where early-stage, seed-stage and growth-stage startups can publish their pitches for an audience of investors in the Southeast. Every month, startups can apply to present their pitch to investors in a livestreamed event.
  • We added the CASE in Point podcast to the inspiration/advice/more resources section of the guide. Produced by Duke University’s Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE), the CASE in Point podcast features interviews with innovators, entrepreneurs and executives from social ventures and impact investing firms.

As always, if we missed a resource you think we should add, please don’t hesitate to submit it for inclusion. You can email me directly, tweet me @shannoncuthrell or use this contact form.
