RALEIGH — Avance Care, a primary care provider with locations in the Raleigh-Durham area, has launched a new suite of services to offer health care in the workplace, schools and residential living spaces.

The new service, named AvanceEngage, has four main offerings, including an on-site primary care HealthPod staffed by a medical assistant and a remote medical provider to provide labs and screenings in the workplace and Avance TeleCare to give access to virtual providers. It also includes a back to work program with on-site COVID-19 antibody, PCR and antigen testing before employees return to the office.

“With AvanceEngage, employees will not have to wait long hours at the doctor’s office to be seen anymore. Instead, they can simply visit a medical provider from the comfort of their office space,” said Director of Business Development at Avance Care Ted Cole. “Our multiple care options are an outstanding benefit for employees, as well as an excellent tool for employee recruitment and retention. It also demonstrates an organization’s commitment to increasing access to affordable care solutions.”

According to Avance Care, companies that prioritize employee well-being create a more loyal and productive workforce and experience financial benefits. The primary care provider added that research indicates that a business employing 2,000 people could save up to $441,000 each year in health care costs and realize approximately $711,000 by avoiding productivity losses with an on-site clinic.

AvanceEngage also provides services in nutrition, behavioral wellness and pharmacy services. The program is the first of its kind in the Triangle area.

“We have reimagined what healthcare should look like in the workplace amid the COVID-19 crisis and beyond,” said Cole. “As businesses begin to think about back-to-office plans, we want them to know that we are here to be a partner and ensure the well-being of employees with our on-site and near-site care options. AvanceEngage offers a level of convenience to approaching healthcare that is simply unmatched.”
