WRAL TechWire has been making weekly updates to our Triangle Startup Guide to keep content fresh and relevant for local entrepreneurs.
This week, we added several new resources for businesses seeking relief, support and helpful information during the COVID-19 pandemic. Click here to see the COVID-19 resource section of the guide.
Here are the latest updates:
We added more information about the new round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration to help companies keep their workforce employed during the pandemic.
A fresh round of PPP funding was signed into law in late-December, with $284 billion available for small businesses. The program resumed taking new applications on Jan. 11.
Inside the new PPP program: How it differs, what changes mean, who can apply, much more
We also included a link to this informative webinar hosted by the City of Raleigh last week. It features experts answering questions on what business owners need to know about the new relief package, what resources are available, qualifications, the application process, loan forgiveness, and more.
Additionally, we included some links to resources with information about COVID-19 vaccinations:
- The NC Department of Health and Human Services’ vaccine portal and FAQ page
- This comprehensive resource from the NC Chamber about coronavirus vaccine distribution
- WRAL’s guide to where to get your shot in central North Carolina
