DURHAM – Oracle NetSuite has confirmed that it will stop supporting the Bronto email marketing technology and different jobs are in the future for Bronto employees.

“To create the best possible customer experience solution, we are integrating our marketing automation resources with Oracle Advertising and Customer Experience over the coming year,” said D’Nara Cush, public relations manager for Oracle NetSuite, responding to an inquiry from WRAL TechWire.

Earlier Wednesday, TechWire reported that the Bronto platform was headed for “end of life.”

However, the company is not dropping support right away.

“We will continue to fully support customers using the Bronto Marketing Platform through May 31, 2022,” Cush said.

As for Bronto workers, Cush noted: “Employees working on Bronto will be transitioned to other roles within Oracle.”

Before being sold six years ago for some $200 million, Bronto was one of the emerging stars in the Triangle’s entrepreneurial community.
