DURHAM – Jessica Mitsch (Momentum Learning) and I (American Underground) are launching a new, twice monthly Club on the social platform Clubhouse focused on Raleigh/Durham startups.

We see the opportunity to better link our region coming out of covid through a platform like Clubhouse. We have developed a format in conjunction with Rise of the Rest and local founders to kick start our first session next month. We hope to hear everyone on there!

Sessions will happen on Fridays between 12-1p and feature one local entrepreneur sharing a ‘How I built X’ story, as well as a featured resource and two pitches from area startups. We decided to launch this after seeing such tremendous interest in the Steve Case/Revolution Clubhouse last month and hearing founders say such a regular forum is needed.

The Club is open to anyone interested in tapping into the local ecosystem and gaining a better understanding of how to launch and scale a successful startup in Raleigh/Durham.

The first session, April 16 from 12-1p, will feature Eric Boduch, co-founder of Pendo, sharing a few stories about early decisions that helped Pendo get off to a strong start. Rachael Classi, founder of Tiny Earth Toys, and Zainab Baloch, founder of YAP!, will pitch to the Club, too.

For those interested in participating, here (https://www.joinclubhouse.com/event/xpdJDLvx) is the link to join on the 16th!
