DURHAM – EnMasse Energy, the developer and provider of a procurement and operations platform, will launch a cloud-based waste-to-energy platform, now that it has secured $2.15 million from six investors, including Blue Bear Capital, Looking Glass Capital, and Climate Cloud.

WRAL TechWire originally reported the funding last month.

The company issued a public statement about its fundraising round earlier this week, that noted the money will allow the company to rapidly scale.

“With this funding, EnMass is launching an online marketplace for waste to energy procurement, enabling enterprise companies that want to source waste materials, including everything from poultry waste to food waste, to convert into energy in support of the client’s operations,” the statement reads.
