RALEIGH – Nature’s Value, a contract manufacturer of vitamins, will move its headquarters to the Winson-Salem area and build a manufacturing plant that will include operations also being moved from a company plant in Lexington, N.C.

The company plans to create 183 jobs at the Forsyth County facility paying an average minimum salary of nearly $58,000. That’s some $3,000 more than the average wage in Forsyth County.

Nature’s Value will invest some $19 million and intends to “streamline operations under one roof,” according to the North Carolina Economic Investment Committee which approved some $2 million in tax incentives.

A total of 52 jobs will be moved to the new location from Lexington, according to the agreement.

Nature’s Value also considered locations in New York, South Carolina and Virginia.
