WILMINGTON – Human Capital Solutions , which specializes in retained executive search, recruiting, and coaching, in the technology, healthcare, life science, and industrial sector, has opened an office in Boston.

The decision was a “direct result” of the global COVID-19 pandemic, said Bo Burch, the founder and CEO of Human Capital Solutions, in a statement.

“The past year has proven to be an historic change agent as virtual recruiting and remote workforces has become the norm for many businesses,” said Burch.  “More and more companies are shifting talent attraction efforts to remote candidates with a renewed focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Burch founded the firm in 2003.

Triangle job openings remain strong despite growing COVID Delta impact

“The pandemic accelerated the digital workplace transformation and employers are challenged with not only returning key leadership back to campus, but also replacing talent who decline that invitation,” said Burch in the statement.  “Boutique search firms will take this opportunity to pivot and capitalize on these opportunities conveying exceptional value to these impacted organizations.”

In 2018, the company opened an Atlanta office, and in 2012, it opened a Raleigh office.  The company is based in Wilmington, N.C.
