Application Deadline: Duke Institute for Health Innovation Project Funding

Oct. 1

The Duke Institute for Health Innovation offers an annual funding cycle to support innovative projects from faculty, staff, trainees and students of Duke University and the Duke University Health System. The program targets projects that aim to address critical issues encountered by care providers and patients. For the 2022 cycle, proposals can request funding in the range of $25,000 to $70,000.

Downtown Techies Raleigh Happy Hour

Code for Durham: Civic Hacking Session

The North Carolina Biotechnology Center’s Innovation Impact Grant funds the acquisition of research equipment for university core facilities involved in life science research. Up to $150,000 may be requested.

Big Launch Challenge 2021

For this year’s Big Launch Challenge, the Launch Place is teaming up with Angel Capital Association’s Angel University to host a two-day learning and networking event for angel investors and entrepreneurs. The event will culminate in the Launch Place’s annual pitch competition, in which startups present their products/services for a chance to win $15,000. More TechWire coverage here.
