RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Local employers are scrambling for new talent, with thousands of job openings available across the Triangle area. And this week, candidates seeking tech-related jobs and internships will have the chance to connect virtually with 30-plus companies at the North Carolina Technology Association’s Virtual Tech Job Expo.

The online event, held Oct. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will have virtual booths from a diverse mix of companies, including Allscripts, Coca-Cola Consolidated, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, First Citizens Bank, Google, Infosys, RTI International, Toshiba, Xerox, and more.

Plenty of other employers are continuing to hire across the Triangle—from small startups to multinational corporations to universities and regional health care systems. Talent recruiting remains hot even as some national jobs boards show a decline in total openings.
