RALEIGH & WAKE FOREST – Two new locations of the Raleigh-based coworking company The Loading Dock will open later this year, including a location in West Raleigh near Meredith College and one in Wake Forest that will become the company’s largest facility.

A launch party for the West Raleigh location, called Beryl, is occurring next week on October 28, 4-7 p.m., with live music and food, the company announced in a statement earlier this month.

The Wake Forest location is slated to open in early December, the company said.  That facility, located on White Street, will include 48 private offices, a coworking space, multiple conference rooms, and an event space that could host more than 200 people.

The company announced plans to expand in 2020.

“This transformative project is an integral part of the Town of Wake Forest’s strategic expansion of downtown, fueling a desire to develop a business incubator space where a diverse group of start-ups and entrepreneurs can work alongside each other,” the company noted in a statement about the facility.

The Loading Dock was founded in 2016, and the original location is in midtown Raleigh and is called Dock 1053. The company noted in its statement that since the facility opened, it has maintained nearly full occupancy.

The company will consider future expansion opportunities, as well, it noted in the statement.
