RALEIGH – There’s a new sign atop the new building at 301 Hillsborough Street.  Pendo, the Raleigh-headquartered technology unicorn, installed the company sign on the building this weekend.

According to a spokesperson for the company, Pendo wished for the sign to be installed prior to the City of Oaks Marathon on Sunday, November 7.

The race route runs past the building, the spokesperson noted.  Pendo is the title sponsor for the event this year, the spokesperson said.

A “Pendozer” captured this image of the company’s sign just before going up to its new home.

Pendo announced it would locate its headquarters in the building in 2019, saying at the time that the company would lease the top five floors of the building and that the company would move in early 2022.

The sign atop the building was a part of the agreement, WRAL TechWire reported in 2019.

Up it goes … a Pendozer took this photo of the Pendo sign being lifted to the top of Pendo’s new office tower home.

In July, the company disclosed it had raised an additional $150 million in a Series F round, valuing the company at about $2.6 billion.

The company told WRAL TechWire earlier this year that it planned to hire 400 new employees in 2021.
