DURHAM – TeraRecon, an artificial intelligence startup in Durham, is merging with Boston-based ConcertAI, the companies announced early Tuesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The combined company will maintain a presence in Durham, ConcertAI noted in a press released.

In 2020, TeraReconwas acquired by SymphonyAI.

“We are excited to announce that we are now a @ConcertAI company!” TeraRecon tweeted Tuesday.

“Our solutions will be integrated with their leading enterprise AI and Real-World Evidence to further support accelerated insights and outcomes for patients.”

Crunchbase defines ConcertAI as “an AI-powered SaaS data company in healthcare that develops medical research tool in oncology.” It has raised more than $150 million from investors, Crunchbase notes.
