  • Precision BioSciences

DURHAM – Precision BioSciences Inc. (DTIL) on Wednesday reported a loss of $11.3 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Durham, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 60 cents per share.

The genome editing company posted revenue of $24 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $8.5 million

  • Novan

DURHAM – Novan Inc. (NOVN) on Wednesday reported a loss of $6.5 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Durham, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 42 cents per share.

The drug development company posted revenue of $737,000 in the period, which met Street forecasts.

  • Barings BDC

CHARLOTTE – Barings BDC, Inc. (BBDC) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $14.4 million.

The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said it had net income of 22 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, came to 23 cents per share.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 23 cents per share.

The business development company posted revenue of $35 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $33.1 million.

Barings BDC shares have risen 24% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $11.41, a rise of 42% in the last 12 months.

Fathom Holdings

  • CARY – Fathom Holdings Inc. (FTHM) on Wednesday reported a loss of $3.4 million in its third quarter.

The Cary, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $100.9 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in December, Fathom Holdings said it expects revenue in the range of $82 million to $84 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $410 million to $420 million.

  • VTv Therapeutics

HIGH POINT – VTv Therapeutics Inc. (VTVT) on Tuesday reported a loss of $1.1 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the High Point, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents.

The biopharmaceutical company posted revenue of $3 million in the period.

  • Cornerstone

CARY – Cornerstone Building Brands, In (CNR) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $612.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Cary, North Carolina-based company said it had net income of $4.82. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 39 cents per share.

The maker of products used in commercial buildings posted revenue of $1.44 billion in the period.

For the current quarter ending in December, Cornerstone said it expects revenue in the range of $1.43 billion to $1.48 billion.

  • Pyxus

MORRISVILLE – Pyxus International Inc. (PYX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $9.7 million in its fiscal second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Morrisville, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 39 cents.

The tobacco company posted revenue of $394.2 million in the period.
