SNOW HILL – The electronics manufacturer Precision Graphics will invest $5.1 million in a new facility located at the NC Global TransPark in Greene County, and plans to hire 70 employees, the company announced today.

“Precision Graphics is an easy business to explain,” said Alec Weissman, the company’s vice president and CEO.  “Today, we’re involved in building electronics assemblies that you’ll see in your home, with the most cutting-edge technologies.”

The process of selecting North Carolina for the facility took a total of 142 days, said Weissman.

The company provides personalized solutions for electronics manufacturing for small and large companies, and the new facility will include electronics manufacturing capacity as well as a fulfillment center.

“Eastern NC offers such a prime location for manufacturers to expand their operations, just like Precision Graphics is doing today,” said Jordan Whichard, chief deputy secretary of the North Carolina Department of Commerce, at an event held in Snow Hill.

“North Carolina’s skilled workforce that consistently attracts industries to our state,” said Whichard. “Our greatest asset is our skilled and diverse workforce.”
