RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Just in time for holiday traffic, RDU International Airport on Thursday unveiled a new app application to help travelers keep track of shuttle buses for rides to and from their vehicles.

“RDU has focused in recent years on deploying technology to improve the guest experience,” said Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. “We hope the new shuttle monitoring app will make holiday travel easier and more convenient.”

The app can be downloaded at the Apple and Google app stores. Search for the TransLoc app.

As for parking …

“Parking availability is updated continuously on the home page at rdu.com,  the airport said Thursday. “RDU ecommends guests visit the website before they leave for the airport. Once they arrive, they should reference the electronic signs on campus that show whether the garage is open to drive-up customers and which economy lots are available.”
