RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – IBM is making another attempt to sell its IBM Watson Health business, according to a report from Axios.
“IBM has resurrected its sale process for IBM Watson Health, with hopes of fetching more than $1 billion,” Axios reports, citing “people familiar with the situation.”
The news site points out that IBM tried to sell Watson early last year with the help of Morgan Stanley.
“Sources say [Watson] continues to lose money,” Axios adds, noting that IBM has invested some $4 billion in the group with a number of acquisitions.
