RALEIGH – A wide variety of companies across the Triangle and North Carolina continue to search for talent despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis that has led to more than 560,000 state residents applying for unemployment.
A check of job sites early Wednesday found lists for thousands of open posistions in North Carolina:

Recruiters are looking for talent.
For example, Spectrum is hosting a jobs fair on April 22 as it seeks to fill open spots at its Triangle operations.
And the North Carolina Technology Association – a business advocacy group – will put on a virtual job fair on May 20.
The State of North Carolina lists more than 1,000 open jobs, according to Glassdoor.
Meanwhile, Fidelity Investments is looking to hire some 100 people for a variety of positions at its Triangle campus.
Raleigh-based Red Hat lists nearly 200 current openings while its corporate parent IBM says nearly 60 jobs are available around the Triangle, according to jobs site Indeed.com.

Cisco, is looking for talent, too, with some 150 open positions at its large Triangle campus, according to its website.
SAS lists more than 20 jobs at its Cary headquarters.
Life science firm IQVIA says it has more than 160 jobs available.
And Durham-based Cree is looking to fill 26 spots.
Raleigh-based Bandwidth is looking to fill several positions as it prepares to build a new headquarters which will mean more than 1,000 jobs.
At software startup Pendo in Raleigh the search is on to fill more than 30 jobs.
On the banking front, Wells Fargo says it has 76 open jobs in the Triangle. Bank of America lists 14.
Amazon, which operates a huge warehouse in Garner and another center in Durham, is also adding jobs as it looks to fill 75,000 newly created posts across the country.
And energy efficiency firm POWERHOUSE on Tuesday announced an expansion to Raleigh that will create 100 new jobs.
