GREENSBORO – Qorvo, a manufacturer and developer of semiconductors and radiofrequency solutions, is looking to raise a whopping $850 million.

The publicly traded firm (Nasdaq: QRVO) added $300 million to its fund-raiser on Thursday after originally looking to raise $250 million.

The sales of senior notes i=are expected to close around June 11.

“Qorvo expects to use the net proceeds of the offering of additional Notes for general corporate purposes,” the company said in its announcement.
