MORRISVILLE – Eco-Site. a fast-growing startup focusing on the wireless industry and towers to support it, is now part of Vertical Bridge, a telecommunications tower infrastruture firm.

The merger closed Monday. No financial terms were announced.

Eco-Site, which launched in 2012, ranked No. 259 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 list with 1,716% revenue growth over the past three years.

As part of the deal, Eco-Site management and cofounders will get new jobs as the industry evolves to embrace next-generation 5G wireless technology:

  • Dale Carey was named executive vice president for strategy and convergence
  • Bob Glosson was named senior VP for real estate solutions
  • Rich Stern was named senior VP for real estate.

Vertical Bridge now has a tower portfolio of over 20,000.

“The wireless sector is significantly different than it was just a few years ago and scale matters more than ever when it comes to being able to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” Carey said in a statement.

“I’ve known the Vertical Bridge team for many years and am excited to work with them under one banner.”
