Yo, Fortnite! G.I. Joe commando Snake Eyes joins the battle

CARY – A new “hunter” is joining Fortnite – and he’s a globally famous but mysterious ninja: G.I. Joe’s Snake Eyes.

Epic Games and Hasbro disclosed the commando’s addition to the Fortnite world of battle on Saturday night. Yes, Saturday nights are still for fighting, as Elton John sang.

“Move with the wind, and you will never be heard. Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe is the newest Hunter to come through the Zero Point! Real name? Classified. Ninja master? Verified,” the Fortnite team wrote in a blog post.

Snake Eyes joins a long list of Fortnite characters that has included Star Wars heroes and plenty of superheroes (and a villain or two) from the Marvel empire.

Who is Snake Eyes?

For those not in the know about G.I. Joe culture, here’s the Hasbro brief about one of the most iconic figures in toys:
