Last week, WRAL TechWire introduced a new weekly feature to keep our readers posted on local job and internship opportunities.

Every Monday, we will round up the latest information from the region’s top job boards, offering a breakdown of how many jobs are posted, which companies are hiring and for what positions. We’ve also included upcoming job fairs, student-centric resources from local colleges and universities, and a list of Twitter accounts that track local job openings.

Check out this week’s updates below. Click on the subheadings to visit the job boards directly.

AMA Triangle

AMA Triangle, the local chapter of the American Marketing Association, aims to be a go-to resource for all things marketing in the Triangle. It is the fifth-largest chapter in the nation, with over 470 members. AMA Triangle provides professional training, free career webinars and a job board offering free resume placement for marketing professionals.

Plus, on the first Monday of every month, AMA Triangle hosts a free program for job seekers and those seeking advice on career improvement, called “Transitions Mastermind.” This program is free and open to all via Zoom (registration required).

AMA Triangle’s job board currently features 60 marketing jobs within a 100-mile radius of Raleigh. The most recent postings are for Verizon’s Cary location, Raleigh-based T.A. Loving Company and Schneider Electric in Knightdale.

Scientists, skilled laborers and recent graduates can use the Bio Jobs Hub resource to find career and training opportunities in their area. Users can search by location, job category/activity and region.

NCWorks also has a mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

More than 2,700 resumes were updated on the site over the past week, with 167 new jobs posted on Sunday, Feb. 14.

The site has a COVID-19 job board that lists companies hiring to fill immediate technical and healthcare needs in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to NCWorks’ homepage, the top-advertised occupations are for registered nurses, heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers, food preparation and serving workers (and first-line supervisors), and retail sales workers.

North Carolina military veterans, transitioning service members and spouses can find additional resources on NCWorks’ separate veterans portal.
