RALEIGH & DURHAM — Rise Above COVID is a movement to find medicines for COVID-19 through the ACTIV-2 clinical trial, a study designed to identify early COVID-19 treatments that can prevent people from progressing to advanced disease and hospitalization.

The initiative is partnering with nearly 100 Black-owned barbershops and beauty salons in the Raleigh-Durham area to help raise awareness and encourage enrollment in the ACTIV-2 study.
