MOORESVILLE – A total of 51 employees will be permanently laid off from their jobs at Tristone Flowtech Group’s manufacturing plant in Mooresville, which will permanently close no later than June 29.

That’s according to a required notice sent by the company to the North Carolina Department of Commerce under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.

“Tristone has realized the need to adjust its manufacturing operations to meet the current targets, future customer demands, and better optimize its global footprint, which results of this closure,” the company wrote in the notice.

The company has already notified its employees.

Instead of continuing operations at the manufacturing plant in Mooresville, the company will shift existing projects to the Delicias facility, which is based in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, the company shared in a notice to its clients.

Tristone is based in Frankfurt, Germany, and the only other North American office location is in Detroit.
