MORRISVILLE – Lenovo has a new North America president coming on board next month. While new to Lenovo, the exec is well known in the global PC industry.
He’s Vlad Rozanovich, a long-time executive with chip maker AMD.

Rozanovich also will serve as Senior Vice President of Lenovo’s International Sales organization. He will be based in Morrisville.
The hiring was confirmed to WRAL TechWire by two spokespersons for Lenovo. Rozanopvich’s role with the company was explained in advance of a formal press announcement after media reports about his hiring last week that was incorrect in reporting his specific role.
Rozanovich will be assuming the president and sales roles “effective in mid-June,” says Lenovo spokesperson David Hamilton. “In this role, he will be responsible for leading sales across all products and all business groups in North America.”
Matt Zielinski, the former North America president for Lenovo, recently took on a new role as part of a corporate reorginzation at Lenovo. Zielinski also worked at one time with AMD and was a colleague of Rozanovich at AMD, Hamilton notes.
Zielinski was named Lenovo’s North America president in 2018 and at that time was the sixth executive in six years to have that job.
In the reorganization announced earlier this year Zielinski was named to lead the International Sales Organization
At AMD, Rozanovich most recentl served as Corporate Vice President, Mega Data Center and Cloud Sales teams. Through his AMD jobs, he developed “a deep understanding of the company’s presence in North America,” Hamilton points out.
Rozanovich earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Boston University. He and his wife and three children currently live in Cincinnati but will be relocating to North Carolina, Hamilton adds. While at Boston U. he was a member of the varisty cree team, Hamilton adds.
